Expensive Menswear Dominates at Trade Shows.
The next round of menswear trade shows starts today with the new London showcase London Collections and, despite the ongoing economic shitstorm that means everyone’s flat-broke, expensive brands are still being lauded.
Buyers, press, and bloggers will be attended shows such as Pitti Uomo, Capsule Paris, Jacket Required, and Project New York over the coming weeks to hunt out the latest expensive gear that no-one can actually afford.
Despite clothing stores continuing to close across the world, the remaining stores are putting all their eggs into the expensive menswear basket and hoping they can tap into the 150 blokes left on the planet with enough cash to buy the expensive shit.
